First Father/Son Hunt

This evening, several mighty warriors showed their courage and skill--right here in our living room.

Using the simple weapons of plastic bows and arrows (purchased--along with the dinosaurs--with the Christmas gift card from Grandma Fisher), these brave men ably defended our home and honed their shooting skills. The target? A bear. That's right--Josiah's stuffed black teddy bear, draped in a real bearskin that one of Jeff's co-workers gave to him, and placed on a beanbag in the center of the floor. Quite a ferocious beast, but look how happy--and unafraid--this little hunter looks as he goes to retrieve his arrows!
Meanwhile, tender little David decided he would save the poor bear's life, and he unflinchingly placed himself squarely in the path of the arrows. I'm sure the bear was very grateful...
