Simple Sunday - Mountain View

~ thankful for this view from our front window: trees gradually losing their leaves in autumn's descent, fields bare after the harvest, and, most of all, the mountains rising up as symbols of security and strength
I lift up my eyes to the hills—
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the LORD,
the Maker of heaven and earth.
~ Psalm 121:1-2

  1. What beauty! And from your kitchen, where doubtless you spend most of your time. I don't have much of a view from any window in my house due to us living down in a gully, but I have my children to watch and they are fun (most of the time!).

  3. Sally, actually that view is from our living room window, not the kitchen. I have to look across route 33, past some buildings, and up to the horizon to see this particular view. That's why I often think of this particular psalm when I "lift my eyes" to view these hills. :)

And Morning, I've often thought, when I see scenes on your blog, that there are lots of similarities between your corner of the world and mine--oddly enough. :)
