Soup and a Smile

Tonight will be another very short blog post. It's been a full day, and I know I need to sleep more than I need to blog.

But two quick notes: first, I'm a day late in posting my recipe for The Foodie Spot; but I didn't make the food until today, so I couldn't exactly take a picture of it and post it yesterday, could I? :)

Second, I was looking through an old songbook today and found a piece of paper that I had taped into it some years ago. This is what was on it:

Hymns for Seasoned Citizens
~ The Old Rugged Face
~ Precious Lord, Take My Hand, and Help Me Up
~ It Is Well with My Soul, but My Knees Hurt
~ Nobody Knows the Trouble I Have Seeing
~ Amazing Grace, Considering My Age
~ Just a Slower Walk with Thee
~ Count Your Many Birthdays, Name Them One by One
~ Go Tell It on the Mountain, but Speak Up
~ Guide Me, O Thou, Great Jehovah, I've Forgotten Where I Parked

It made me smile.

:)

  1. That's funny! It took me until the third one to notice they weren't the real song titles.
