In the Petting Zoo

Besides the drive-through section of the safari park, they also had a walk-through area where we could pet and feed various animals (goats, pigs, etc.)...and simply observe others (tigers, for example--no petting allowed!). :)

~ what are you doing, David? throwing the food at the goats? :)
~ while the boys finished feeding the goats all the rest of the food from the bucket, I had fun taking pictures of this sleeping angel...I love him from the top of his head...
~ ...to his sweet, sweet hand, and all the way to...

  2. Oh that trip sounds like fun! We went to a safari park when I was about 4 I mostly remember relentless ostriches, and that we got to ride an elephant.
My sister Anna, When she goes to South Africa to renew her visa, sometimes goes to Pemba(?), a very large animal park. They even have a camp ground, (but who wants to battle the theiving monkeys?), and once, they realized after stopping to look at some animals, they were barely 20 feet away from a not overly happy bull elephant!
