A few weeks ago, some friends of ours who live in Indiana (she used to be my piano teacher, he used to be our piano tuner) sent us a link to this YouTube video.
I enjoyed it and was VERY impressed by it: the harmony, the choreography, wow! But David--well, he was more than impressed. He decided he was going to be an Ambassador of Harmony and do his own rendition of 76 Trombones. Here is his version:
Some things to notice:
~ he's wearing his pajamas--a nice touch, don't you think?
~ at one point, Tobin adopts his classic left-thumb-in-mouth-and-right-hand-in-bellybutton pose
~ at another point, Tobin starts shaking the cowboy boot that's laying on the floor--I have no idea why
~ when David goes behind the couch cushion and then bursts out (at :26 in the video), he's imitating what happens at 3:11 in the YouTube video--pretty clever of him, I think
Watch out, world. In a few short years, David Fisher just might burst into the scene, and the world of barbershop quartets and choruses might not know what hit them! Until then, he'll keep doing a superb job of entertaining us. :)

hmmm, if only homeschoolers could join marching band. :)
I enjoyed both vidoes, thanks for sharing! Put a smile on my face this evening. :
Andrew and I both enjoyed watching these videos. You have some real talent in your house!
Wow, wow, wow! The Music Man is our favorite music right now! Our church put on a full production, and ever since then the girls have been singing to the CD a friend gave us for their birthday. I can't WAIT for them to see this. And I love how David imitated them, especially with the big burst onto the "stage." What a treat that you provided this link!
