...way ahead!
I'm happy to say that they are. :)
Thanks in part to my friend Sally who came over one afternoon to watch my kids so I could have some time to myself (a portion of which I used to wrap gifts), and to Kathryn whose weekly visit to play with the boys gave me time this afternoon to finish the project, I am now able to say that all the gifts I needed to wrap are done: wrapped, tagged, bowed, and placed under the Christmas tree.
What a lovely feeling.
I can hardly wait for Christmas morning, so I can watch the faces of the ones I love as they open their gifts. I must be growing up because these days...
...I'd rather give presents than receive them. :)

I must be growing old too then! Definitely the joy of seeing them open presents is what makes my Christmas morning.
Actually, believe it or not, I'm really organised this year too. NOT like me!
yay!! WTG! I am going to finish up today! That is my goal.. I am almost done wrapping!
Yay! So cozy to think of you with all your gift wrapping done and able to enjoy the rest of the Christmas week without stress. The packages look beautiful! I can't wait to see some pictures of the kids and the joy on their faces Christmas morning!
Merry Christmas Davene!
Way to go! I'm typically pretty ahead with these things but this year I'll be lucky if the gifts get wrapped at all! lol
It looks like you are an excellent and creative gift wrapper too! I love to wrap gifts, and I really love to give them. I am just about done wrapping. I've really had to prioritize around here to make everything work out. One of the things that is suffering is my blog! Oh I don't like that! We've had a lot going on--a trip to PA for a 60th wedding anniversary, a Christmas Eve service to practice for, Andrew's family coming some for the 24th & 25th, some for just the 25th. But, I am not stressing too much. Whenever I feel a crunch, I think back to last year when everyone was having ear infections, vomiting, running fevers, etc., etc., over Christmas and New Year's, and so many trips to the doctor, and I think this year is a piece of cake in comparison.
I'm so glad your Christmas time is going better too.
P.S. Thanks for giving me so much credit for your being ahead! Really, I doubt my being there for a barely 2 hours got that much of your work done! We enjoyed our visit, and we hope do it again sometime (but not in the next 2 weeks!).
