Band of Brothers

It wasn't so long ago that Josiah and David were sitting together in a hospital rocking chair, holding another little baby brother on their laps! Yesterday it was Shav's turn to be greeted and held and admired...
...and checked on and patted by Josiah when Shav was in the bassinet...
...and held again later by Josiah, all by himself this time...
...and by David who figured out that the best seat in the house was the hospital bed, especially with all the cool buttons that made stuff happen like the bed going up and going down and then going up again and going down again and...well, you get the picture.
But my favorite picture is this one: a band of brothers, blessed to have each other, and one very happy mother!!! :)

These are really nice pictures. I love the bottom one a whole lot. You have a very wonderful family. All the boys look positively delighted to have a new brother. I'm glad they got to visit you in the hospital.

All the photos are great, but I too really like the last one! Look at Tobin's cute little bare feet!

There's just something special about having four of the same gender, isn't there? :)

I KNOW brothers and sisters can be close...but watching my four girls, I know they share something I never really got to experience.

love that sweet little band of brothers you have the honor of raising. xo

Oh my word Davene, Shav is so beautiful!
I can see he looks just like you two, I could see it right when I saw his adorable face. Congratulations!

I am kind of jealous (there I said it) that you have four of a kind. My grammy insists it's the only way to go (can you guess what she had?), and there must be a pretty cool dynamic.

You are blessed!!!

Let me get this straight--Did you or did you not just have a baby on MONDAY?!?

And you've blogged every day since then. Now that's bloggy dedication.

I'm so glad to get to see these peeks into the first week!

I hope you're getting whatever rest you can and that all is going well as you begin the adventure of having 4 little ones.

I can see David wanting to be on the bed because it goes up and down. David looks so happy and is geting good Practice for being a big of two brother. Tobin also looks like he will be a great big brother and well we know Josiah will well because he has had the most practice. Hope all is going well!!
