Simple Sunday - A Nest for Baby

~ thankful for the end result of all this nesting: a cozy, beautiful (in my eyes, at least) spot for Baby to rest in and sleep in and look around in and learn in and grow up (at least for a while) in!...since Tobin is still using the crib, Jeff assembled this cradle for our tiniest one...the bedding doesn't match the room; but in a few months, the crib will be back in here with bedding that matches the rest of the room, and the baby can sleep in that (not that the baby will know or care!)...I love how, at this season of the year, the morning sun shines into this room...I love each of the special decorations that we've collected through the years for the nursery...I love how the new paint transforms the room...most of all, I love the fact that soon (so soon!), there will be a precious new son or daughter to occupy this room
My new favorite quote about childbirth:
"At just the right time, when things are completely in place, the dance of labor and birth will begin, and the two players who have been rehearsing for all these weeks will delight in seeing each other's faces."
~ from The Official Lamaze Guide: Giving Birth with Confidence

One of my favorite color combo's is green with dark brown! Maybe that's why I like the nursery so much...
Have a good rest of the Lord's day!

What a nice nest! It's nice to know that everything is ready for whenever that little baby (girl?) decides to grace us with (her?) presence.

Check out my Simple Sunday post at bekahcubed.
