Davene,

I love this photo! We should all be thankful for the things that we take for granted.

The reason that I call my window treatments "mistreatments" is because of the blog www.nestingplacenc.blogspot.com she makes wonderful window coverings on a budget and without a sewing machine, she uses a glue gun, I prefer to sew mine because I'm not very good with a glue gun. You should check out her blog, it is a fun place to get ideas for the home.

Take Care,
Michelle

Hi Davene!
I stopped by to say hi because you were nice enough to visit me and give me one of my first ever comments! Thank you! I love your boys names, and your idea to use muffin tins for lunch...I will have to keep my eyes peeled for some of those myself! And as for Isaiah 43..Amen! I will be back to visit!

My husband asked me today if we were to move out of state (which we have no plans of moving, just a hypothetical question), which state would I want to live in? I said, "Virginia". I think we have so much natural beauty here, and the clear water is one of them.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment! It is always nice to make new friends... it looks like you have a beautiful and peaceful life. I'm slightly envious of the opportunity to live in a place of natural beauty. While Beijing has its perks, the scenery and environment isn't one of them. :)

Blessings,
Carrie

Love it! I also enjoy the cold stream. Hopefully I'll make my way to the mountains before it's too cold to get my feet wet!!
