...you know what the mice do.
In this case, Jeff is the cat, and four happy little mice scampered around our living room recently while he was gone.
Last week Jeff took a hunter safety course, so he was away from home four evenings in a row: highly unusual for our family. One evening, Josiah and David convinced me to turn our little couch over so they could play on it.
It
was
so
much
fun!
They were so busy pushing cushions around and climbing up on the couch and sliding down.
The picture above kind of makes me grimace. Tobin is adorable, of course; but he's wearing a plaid shirt, and also shorts made out of a different plaid, and he's sitting on a plaid couch. Three different plaids is two too many for one picture. :)

Too cute! I wish my mom would have let us do stuff like that with our couch.
On second thought, thinking of the house I grew up in and the couches within, that probably wouldn't have been a good idea.
Still, what fun for your boys!
Yep, couches can be used in so many ways! You're a good mom. I've let my couch get so much unconventional use that it badly needs some patching/mending at places. One of these days....
Lol Davene, This is so sweet. I love the seeing all of the boys playing together. Its so healthy to have siblings to play with. I just love the picture of Tobin smiling with his sweet hands on his knees :) So Sweet!
Wow, you are a cool mom! This makes me remember one day when my son was almost two and he piled all the couch cushions on the floor and played on them. He kept laughting "I climb! I climb!" Sweet memories.
Just what couches were made for! I bet it bought you some free time too. :-)
