Maybe This Is Why I'm So Cold

I'm not sure if it's clear in the picture or not (although you can always click on the picture to enlarge it), but our temperature when we got up this morning was 1.

That's right: 1 degree. One measly little lonely degree.

That's the coldest I've seen it since we've moved back to this area, almost 3 and 1/2 years ago. I'm thinking we could use some global warming around here...or, at the very least, some regional warming. And for goodness' sake, if it's going to be this cold, it might as well snow and let us have some fun while we're freezing!

Brrrr! I can't even imagine cold like that. Miserable! Here we've been sweltering in 40C heat -- although this morning finally that's broken and it's livable again.

Hi Davene, Thanks for stopping by my blog. Congratulations on having your fourth child. We have five, Brandi is our oldest. We do so appreciate all the prayers and we will be praying for you too, that everything will be smooth. Even though we don't know exactly what will happen, blessings are flowing. I do believe in the power of prayer. Thanks again, I'll add you to my blog. Debbie

Oh my goodness! I wouldn't know what to do in temps like that. I'm shivering as it is when it's a warm 28 degrees around here. 1 is COLD.

Yes, it is VERY cold outside. I am so thankful for good heat inside, and for cars that make good heat, though I am staying home and in as much as possible!

Wow, I do not envy you with that cold weather. Keep warm and turn up the heat as much as your husband will let you!! :)

I'm with you - and did you know that it isn't called global warming anymore (apparently the cold snap has something to do with that - HAHA!!). It's now called "climate change."

Go figure.

p.s. and I LOVE our thermometer like this. We have a clock in our bedroom that also projects the time and outdoor temp on the ceiling. So you can lay in bed and just wish you could stay in bed all day instead of freeze. :)
