...women think about one of three things, said my beloved husband over supper one day recently: getting married, having babies, or cleaning. And he should know, since he's surrounded by females at work and gets to listen to their conversations. :)
Of course, I had to apply his words to myself and determine whether I fit the mold. Getting married? Nope, already did that, and snagged the best husband around. Having babies? Well, I've done that, too; and although I'm not ruling out the possibility of doing it again, I'm not ready for it yet. Cleaning? Absolutely!
The best part about cleaning is not the cleaning part. It's the decluttering, organizing, moving things around, decorating part. That's what makes it so much fun!

I got it yesterday from my friend Jenny (actually, the twin sister of my friend Becky; but I know Jenny and I would be friends if she lived around here!); she's an amazingly talented lady who does gorgeous things with words. You can check out her work here.I also got some pretty notecards from her, and she personalized them while I waited.

Well, I guess Jeff might be right. We're right on track with the baby part, and boy, oh boy, do I have the cleaning bug! Not that I particularly love cleaning, it's just that I have a strong urgency about needing it done, and done NOW! Well, I've had to use some sense and reign myself in to take care of some other things as they come up, but I still have a giant amount of cleaning, organizing and decluttering I want to do before Aug.
I love your new decorations. I also really like that plaque about being a good mother. I need to remember that.
Well then I expect to get one of those note cards, Davene! LOL...just kidding I won't be offended if I don't get one. Hope you are all feeling well! (P.S. - I love seeing pictures of the pictures I took hanging on your walls. I'm such a dork!)
Misty YOU ARE NOT A DORK...just an amazing photographer. And I, too, will be checking the mail daily until I get my card. Actually, Misty, I think we are SOOO special that there wouldn't even be cards special enough to say how special we are. So it's ok if I don't get one either. Thanks for the smiles, friends.
