We had a great time at our house on Friday night: gathering with friends (some of whom surprised us by driving in from Kentucky for this event--well, not JUST for
this event--but it made us feel special that they made the effort to come!), eating together, celebrating my mother's birthday, singing some "oldies but goodies" hymns, discussing one of Jesus' perplexing parables, fellowshipping. It was so enjoyable and encouraging for me!
