These pictures are from Sunday night..."welcome home" night. Before Jeff had even carried Tobin up the steps from the garage, both Josiah and David were EAGERLY awaiting them. David kept saying, "I don't
believe it!" A very enthusiastic welcome for their little brother... :)
~ the first greeting at home
~ Tobin, bundled up for a winter evening's ride home
~ Josiah was so excited to hold Tobin, something he had been talking about during the last months of my pregnancy
~ of course, David had to hold him, too...even now, David likes to do more than just
hold him; he likes to bend his ears, rub his head, touch his mouth, pat his nose, touch his eyes ("David, we don't touch eyes!"), etc...such hands-on love--or maybe just curiosity :)

So sweet! It's fun to see the initial reactions. One of the sweetest times was when Katie, Caleb, snd Shani came home after Kieran was born (kind of reverse from bringing the baby home from the hospital...bringing the kids home to the baby because he was born at home, and they were at school). They have these looks of awe on their faces, and Shani is tentatively reaching out to touch the baby. Precious.
What good big brothers. My bigs got all excited this morning when I mentioned that we'll have to have another church rotation when this baby comes...meaning each kid gets a Sunday to hold baby during church (Kanah is too big for this, now, and has moved to Daddy's lap).
I am halfway there. Can you believe it??? Oh wait, this is about you. Your three little men are just adorable!!!! (Jeff isn't too bad, either ;-)
