I'm always thrilled when my birthday gets extended longer than one day...so I was definitely excited when I received a special package today from Jeff's mom and sister. Inside were nestled six huge strawberries wearing elegant coats of assorted chocolate. Don't they look magnificent?! And they were so delicious! What a treat! I'm always thrilled when my birthday gets extended longer than one day...so I was definitely excited when I received a special package today from Jeff's mom and sister. Inside were nestled six huge strawberries wearing elegant coats of assorted chocolate. Don't they look magnificent?! And they were so delicious! What a treat! Thanks, Julia...glad to have you visit. You want to know the best thing about these strawberries? There was a mix-up with our address, and they were delivered on Monday instead of Saturday as ordered. So they sat somewhere for two extra days and weren't fresh like they should have been. Well, I "forced" myself to eat them anyway! :) But my amazing sister-in-law contacted the company she had ordered them from, and they promptly sent out a replacement order--way-to-go to both my sister-in-law and the company for handling it all so well. The fresh batch arrived today, and they are EVEN BETTER than the original ones. Really scrumptious!!! So I'm doubly blessed! :)
